Hukamnama (ਹੁਕਮਨਾਮਾ)
Hukamnama (????????) consists of two words Hukam (????) meaning order or command and Nama (????) meaning statement, and is therefore an instruction received from the Guru which must be followed.
It is also known as a Mukhvaak or Mukhwak (???????), consisting of the words mouth (????) and speech (???), referring to the words spoken by the Guru.
For Sikhs, every morning the Guru Granth Sahib is opened at a random page after doing a standing prayer called an Ardas, and the hymn which appears becomes the orders for the day.
